In NorQuest College’s three-day Lean Yellow Belt lean training workshop, you will learn the basic principles of “lean thinking” which will lead you and your company to increased workplace productivity, improved processes, and sustained organizational growth. In this workplace skills workshop, you will also learn essential lean tools and practices and how to apply them within the workplace in order to increase efficiency and productivity, improve customer and employee satisfaction, reduce waste, and ensure sustained growth.
This workshop provides students with an overview of the basic principles of "Lean thinking" and outlines the essential Lean tools and practices that can be applied within an organization to increase product/service efficiency and quality, improve satisfaction, and reduce waste. It aims to create not only Lean awareness, but also an understanding of the benefits that can be achieved by following Lean best practice and developing a basic proficiency in using key Lean tools and practices.
