Upon completion of this module, learners will be able to transfer their learning to the job as follows:
  • Create a good first impression using appropriate body language, tone & phrasing
  • Exhibit behavior that establishes rapport
  • Use positive phrasing to indicate what can be done, not what can’t be done
  • Use active listening skills to increase understanding
  • Gather accurate and sufficient information using appropriate questioning techniques
  • Effectively confirm understanding of, and summarize, requests
  • Effectively close an interaction on a positive note
