Kelsey Johnson

Kelsey Johnson is the chef and owner of Cafe Linnea, an Edmonton based restaurant that serves both brunch and dinner, and had the honor of being named one of Canada's Best New Restaurants of 2017 by EnRoute. She has worked as a pastry chef, line cook, butcher, waitress, bartender and now chef, so she has seen the industry from all sides and has collected the knowledge run the type of establishment she says she is proud to be a part of. She started her cooking career at Character's Fine dining, then to Culina Highlands, a mom and pop style restaurant, before honing some skills at Acme Meat Market, Woodwork, and the world famous Duchess Bakeshop. Her main rule in the restaurant is respect - for the food, the process, and the people involved at all levels.
