With nearly three decades of experience as a recruitment and training professional, Greg Allan brings with him a great deal of hospitality and human resources industry experience to NorQuest College, where he has been a valuable member of the team since February 2017.
Greg began his career as a Grocery Supervisor at Loblaw Companies Ltd., directing and supervising employees for nearly a decade until moving into a District Sales Leader position at PepsiCo-Frito Lay, where he developed training and development skills over a ten year period. From there, Greg moved into a career as a Recruitment and Training Manager at Mac’s Convenience Stores Inc., where he conducted and arranged for ongoing training and development. Before coming to NorQuest College, Greg Allan worked as a Human Resources Recruiter at McDonald’s Canada, leading a team in full cycle recruitment efforts, training and developing restaurant managers, and developing key recruitment programs.
Greg has a passion for teaching and enjoys the rewarding experience of being able to see students make the transition from the classroom and in work placements in the hospitality sector. Greg is dedicated to serving each and every student in order to help them succeed in the hospitality industry. In the past, Greg has served as Santa Claus for three years consecutively at the McDonald’s staff children’s Christmas parties.
