Christine Channer Auguste, or “Fab” as she is known to her friends and colleagues at Norquest, is passionate about the Hospitality sector and matching learners with jobs, and listening meticulously to clients to determine their needs in order to develop custom training programs that will deliver the skilled workers the Hospitality industry in Alberta needs.
In her role she has overseen programs and bursaries which use the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Kitchen, traveled to Indigenous communities all over Alberta to develop custom training programs, and much more - all with the support of the Hospitality team at NorQuest, all of whom Christine deeply values.
Christine brings hands-on experience to her role, with various roles in the Cara-owned Swiss Chalet restaurants when she was a fresh graduate from York University with an Honours BA in Sociology. Her sales acumen was honed in the private sector as a Senior Account Executive for Foodservice & Commercial at Georgia-Pacific LLC. Prior to her move to Alberta to join Georgia-Pacific, Christine worked in various business development and sales roles with companies in the Greater Toronto Area.
Christine is passionately involved in the Edmonton and Alberta community as the Co-Chair for Indigenous Works, Alberta Project Steering Committee, and a member of the following groups.

In her spare time, Christine teaches spin class as a certified spin instructor, and shares health and wellness tips on her lifestyle blog
