Bob Dunham has worked in the B.C. and Alberta hospitality sector since his early days in college, working his way up from part-time hotel positions to operational and sales positions. Having worked in independent, international, and resort hotels throughout Western Canada, including Four Seasons and Ramada Renaissance among others, Bob is armed with a wealth of industry expertise that makes his a valuable part of the NorQuest College team.
Bob eventually shifted to a sales management position at the Shaw Conference Centre, and after a short while worked his way up to being named the Director of Meetings, Business Travel and Events in the Tourism division of the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. From there, Bob took on a Director of Hospitality Services role at the University of Alberta, where he lead the hospitality services team to great success.
Having attended a Management Development program at the University of Alberta, a leadership course at Cornell University, and a Tourism course at the B.C. Institute of Technology, Bob has developed a wide range of skills in the hospitality sector. Bob Dunham comes from a family of teachers, and as such has a strong passion for teaching and developing a deeper appreciation of the hospitality world in his students.
