The Foundations in Direct Care program is a completely virtual, approximately 80-hour, self-paced program that is has been designed to be taken from anywhere, any time and from any device, and at a very affordable price point. You may be simply interested in a frontline health career and some of the skillsets that you will be required to learn in a more formal program or whether you are seeking to learn skillsets for your own personal purposes such as providing personal care to a loved one. This program can improve learners’ abilities to respond to most aspects of direct care performed by home care providers to vulnerable persons including the elderly, and people needing physical care. Consider adding the Foundations in Direct Care program as a pathway to employment or simply give back to your community as a direct care provider no matter where you are in the world.
