Advance your community or social service career with practical skills course

One in five people experience a mental health problem or illness. In partnership with TIQ Software, NorQuest has developed a series of fun, interactive, and easy to digest educational courses for everyone and for management.

Learn about mental health basics, identify personal mental health issues, and learn how to get additional support. Gain preliminary knowledge of common mental health problems that you may or may not have noticed in your current workplace environment. Whether you are at home or at your workplace, you will gain confidence to reach out and support the people in your life.

This training (NFPA 1001 Firefighter Training) means so much to me because if I don't take this course I will never be a firefighter, which I intend to become. It is enjoyable and very exciting to know that I will be helping and protecting my friends and family.

Save on the cost of training

Whether you are an individual or an organization looking for training for your staff, the Canada-Alberta Job Grant can help save on the costs. Many of our continuing education and custom training programs qualify for the grant. What does that mean? With the grant, you can save two-thirds of the costs.

For details on which courses and programs qualify, talk to one of our program officers.
