Family Caregiver Wellness Workshops
Family Caregivers are described as individuals who provide ongoing care and assistance, without pay, for family members or friends in need of support due to physical, cognitive, or mental health conditions. As of 2002, almost 4% of Canadians identified as a family caregiver of individuals with disabilities, chronic conditions, or frailty. This percentage translated to approximately one million individuals caring for a family member in an informal capacity.
