Approved Medical Training

The First Medical Responder (FMR) course, recognized by Alberta Health Services for firefighters, provides the theoretical and practical framework of training. The FMR course is taught using the Canadian Red Cross curriculum, is approved by Workplace Health and Safety for Advanced First Aid, and recognized by Alberta Health Services for the firefighting profession based on the enhanced skill sets learned.
