At the conclusion of this engagement, leaders will have a clear understanding of current EDI-related organizational development including: establishing governance structure, setting the strategic EDI direction for their organization and recruiting and standing up an EDI committee that oversees EDI-related initiatives within the organization.

Training Day 1:

  • Overview of key concepts related to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
  • A general history of EDI work in organizations as it relates to current workplace practices.
  • Why EDI matters at the client's organization. The Business Case for EDI.
  • Identify the 6 traits of inclusive leaders
  • Explore inhibitors and enablers to team and organizational inclusion
  • Assessing team inclusive best practices
  • EDI leadership capability self-assessment tool and development plan
Training Day 2:
  • Determine governance structure including steps for setting up an EDI committee
  • How to get people involved in EDI across the client's organization including committee recruitment
  • Determine what learning and development goals you have for the next quarter in the EDI conversation and post to a group forum (optional)
Training Day 3:
  • Assessing the EDI maturity of the client's organization using the Global Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarks foundational categories of vision, leadership and structure
  • Draft an EDI strategic roadmap for client's organization including goals and key performance indicators
  • Review strategic roadmap
